Try these physical ways to release stress

Are you stressed?! Here are many ways you can PHYSICALLY release that stress right now!

Have you read Burnout by @enagoski and @amelianagoski ? It's a fantastic book! They talk a lot about stress and how to complete the stress cycle.

The problem with stress isn't that there are stressors, it's the lack of releasing that stress that gets to be a problem. When we carry the stressors of the day into our next day, and the next day, it builds and builds and takes a huge toll on our physical and mental health. We have to close that stress cycle each day.

Burnout is at an all-time high for moms! While we can't get rid of all the stressors in our life, we can do something to release the stress! Here are some great strategies to physically release stress so you're giving your brain a signal that it's all good, that you're safe, you're okay.

Which one will you try today/tonight?
✴️20 minutes of exercise / movement (best way!)
✴️Laughter
✴️Big ol' cry sesh!
✴️Shaking - do as the animals do and shake it out!
✴️A long tight hug (20-seconds or til your body's soft)
✴️Yelling / screaming (not at your kids... but go into an empty car / room and yell it out!)
✴️Dancing!
✴️Jumping on a trampoline
✴️Calm diaphragmatic breathing
✴️Progressive muscle relaxation

The key is physically releasing that stress to complete that stress cycle.
