TaKisha August Bio:

TaKisha August is a mama and founder of Momkynd, a hybrid maternal wellness practice providing yoga, meditation and conscious education to women along the motherhood continuum both online and in her community just outside of Washington, DC.

She is also a Certified Women’s Health Coach specializing in reproductive health with training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the Fix Your Period Apprenticeship Program, and The Shakti School Ayurvedic Wellness program; as well as a birth and postpartum Doula trained through DONA International and Mama Glow.
