Why is my body ruined after having a baby?
You postpartum body is stronger than you think. 💪🏽
In the throes of early postpartum, we lose sight of the big picture. We think "this is so hard!" "This is how it's always going to be!" "My symptoms are the worst!"🤬
It's understandable why you feel that way - you're exhausted, sleep-deprived, perhaps under-supported, feeling lonely. Your body feels foreign to you. It makes sense why you feel like your body betrayed you!😞
But it didn't. It hasn't gone anywhere. It's right there healing. It's right there doing what it should - it's taking care of you.
And now, you also need to take care of it too. Give your body lots of:

I've been training these lateral square for months to get nice and low to the floor. I started higher up and as I got stronger worked lower down. I tried it again today and suddenly realized I could do it!🎉
I would not have gotten here if I chose to be down on myself for having symptoms. Instead I chose on what I could control, which is my actions! I would not have gotten here without training consistently over the past year.
Here's to your strong, capable and resilient body! Whether it's prolapse you're experiencing or diastasis or something entirely different, may you give your body the support and kindness it deserves!
What's something that reminds you how strong you are? For me it's these Cossack squats I did today!
